The Do's and Dont's of Waxing ( Before + After your appointment)

Underarm Wax
Underarm Wax

Is this your first time getting a wax? Or maybe want to do better in prepping you skin for the best results? First things first DO find a good esthetician that will trust and has proven results and reviews. DO make sure your hair has grown for at least 3 weeks or more for good results that will allow most of your hair to be removed at once. DO exfoliate before your appointment to avoid ingrowns and remove any hair follicles that can be trapped underneath the skin to be removed. DO book your next appointment follow-up appointment to remain consistent on your waxing journey!

DO NOT trim your hair, allow it to grow. DO NOT exfoliate immediately after a wax, but at least 24 hours after as waxing is a form of exfoliation in itself. Your skin is sensitive and fresh after a wax exfoliating after will cause irritation and discomfort. DO NOT go to a sauna, the gym, or pool/beach and DO NOT have intimate relations within the first 24 hours because within open pores you are more prone to infections.

DO book with D Esthetic Life for the a comfortable experience with great results. Hope you enjoyed todays vlog!
